No more overfertilising your plant or making a mess on the counter.
The plant food helps feeds the tiny organisms in the soil, like bacteria and fungi, which help break down nutrients and make them easier for plants to absorb.
This teamwork creates a healthier, more balanced soil ecosystem, boosting long-term plant growth while improving soil structure.
It's best to fertilise every time you water. Fertilise every time you water to maintain stable soil chemistry.
Forgetting to do so is not a big deal. We recommend to fertilise as long as the plant is growing, when it stops growing (usually in fall & winter) half the dosage.
We do not recommend mixing any of the SYBASupport Line fertilisers. Combining with Worm Castings & Lava gravel is possible
For SYBASoil, We do still recommend waiting until the nutrients have run out (~6 months after repotting)
You can! We recommend to lower the dosage to 25%, especially if the cutting hasn't rooted yet. We would still recommend to not fertilise until roots have formed.
Organic fertilisers are less intense than mineral fertiliser, therefore it's possible.
In winter, houseplants take a nap or grow super slowly, so they don’t need much food.
Use only 25-50% of the usual fertiliser dose to keep them happy without overfeeding. 🌱
Yes you can!
Make sure the product is stored in a dry, dark & cool place.
To prevent crystallization of the liquid, keep above 5°C.
Stored this way the fertiliser will stay good for 6-12 months after opening
If a plant isn’t doing well, adding fertiliser is like giving candy to someone with a stomach ache—it might make things worse.
First, check what’s wrong: too much water, not enough light, or pests. Fix those problems before feeding it.
If lack of nutrients is the problem, your plant might look pale, grow slower, or have yellowing leaves, especially the older leaves.
That’s when fertiliser can help—but always use the right type and amount to avoid overfeeding!
Mineral fertilisers are like fast food for plants—quick and easy but can run out fast.
Organic fertilisers are like healthy home-cooked meals—slower to work, but they make the soil better over time.
*For mineral substrates like SYBAHydro, we havent been able to find a suited bio fertiliser, that's why we sell the mineral fertilisers
All SYBASupport jars & bottles are made from 100% rPet (recycled & recyclable), remove the label and bring them to your local recycling facility under recycle code 1.
The scoops can be re-used and are from PP. You can recycle them under recycle code 5
We are actively researching a way to create our own recycling services.
Liquid fertilisers are like a quick drink for your plants—they get nutrients fast but need more refills.
Slow-release fertilisers are like a snack that keeps unwrapping itself, feeding your plants bit by bit over time.
