What's the difference between Sphaxx & Sphagnum moss?
Sphaxx is a type of 100% clean Sphagnum moss. It is grown under controlled, sustainable indoor conditions. Think of it as a moss nursery!
The controlled environment of Sphaxx ensures its purity and quality. It is cleaner than outdoor-harvested sphagnum, which can be full of bugs, twigs, and debris.
As we cultivate Sphaxx, we do not touch or disturb natural peat bogs. This makes the product significantly more environmentally friendly than regular Sphagnum.
Sphaxx is best used for plants sensitive to any contaminants, like orchids.

Why Sphaxx (Indoor Grown Sphagnum) for your plants?
Ready-to-use soil moistener and aeration improver
add 10-30% as a potting medium for Orchids, Carnivorous plants or Terrariums
Perfect for plants with moisture-loving roots who need aeration.
Controlled-environment grown Sphagnum moss with medium to long strands with no pressure on natural eco systems from harvesting and grown using sunlight
Our Sphaxx is sourced locally from The Netherlands & Germany (depending on the batch).
The moss is grown under controlled and sustainable indoor conditions. This fact is what distinguishes the product by its exceptional purity and quality.
When cultivating Sphaxx, there is no pressure on natural ecosystems. To top it off, only natural sunlight is used to grow the Sphaxx.!
Traditionally available Sphagnum comes from the Southern Hemisphere. Here, it is harvested by hand from natural terrains in places like Chile, New Zea-land, and China.
Habitat protection isn't always a priority for these farms, and the supply chain is long.
Looks like a goof quality. But there is much less than 50 litres.
Heel blij met dit spaghnum, zeer zuiver!
